P52 Week 17 - Anonymous

For week 17 we are exploring the concept of anonymity in photography. Faceless photography is compelling as it can add a sense of mystery to the image. This allows the viewer to imagine themselves in a particular setting. Here, one of the subjects (my sister-in-law) is behind the hat. She gladly offered to hold our middle grandson while his parents played a round of corn hole at a recent family gathering. He was recovering from a double ear infection so he wasn’t as enthused with game day as the rest of us! 😀

Hats are perfect for this concept! 👒 Another example can be found here in my archives.
